Relocated Oil Pump Pickup Tube Kit TBSS + SSR

Compatible with both 2WD and AWD Trucks! Trailblazer 5.3L, SS & SSR pickup all use the same pan.

This is the most effective solution to the dreaded oil starvation problem in the Trailblazer SS.  With the stock pickup tube located in the very front of the sump, the TBSS will starve for oil on hard acceleration, greatly compromising engine life. Our solution is a custom, professionally welded tube that relocates the pickup much further back, allowing uninterrupted oil supply. Our kit includes new splash trays and hardware (with drill and tap) to mount them. You can also weld the trays into place (our preferred method). Kit also includes interior pan gaskets. There will be some final fitment work needed to the plates and/or pan for installation.  The factory tray riveted to the pan will need to be drilled out and removed, replaced with our two piece trays.  NOTE: This does NOT require the engine to be removed for installation, it can be done from beneath with the engine still in the truck.
